How I Work
A leaking shower has to be diagnosed, not guessed at. Water can travel a long way from where it escapes to where it appears on a ceiling below. I work out whether it is failed silicone, cracked grout, or a breach in the waterproofing behind the tiles.
If the tanking has failed, no amount of resealing the surface will fix it. That means removing tiles, applying a proper tanking membrane, and re-tiling. I am straight with you about which level of repair the leak actually needs.
Where a leak is caught early and the waterproofing is sound, renewing grout and silicone to a proper standard can be enough. I do not oversell a re-tank when a reseal genuinely solves it.
What Affects the Cost of Shower Leak Repair?
Every job is different. These are the main factors that affect the price. I explain all of them during the quote visit so there are no surprises.
